Orlando International Airport

The project involved construction of a new Automated People Mover connecting the airport with the South Complex, which will serve as the terminus for the “All Aboard Florida” Train System and future airport terminal. The project also involved upgrades to the existing shuttle systems connecting the current terminal with airside gates.

For both projects, LBTC was responsible for the following:

  • Baseline design for the wayside communications, power distribution and supervisory/control systems
  • Systems integration
  • Construction management
  • Quality Assurance/Control
  • Project Controls
  • Development of Operational Procedures
  • Testing and Commissioning
